This International Women’s Day, Cultura Technologies is proud to recognize the women who are shaping the future of the food value chain. This week, two leaders from Tibersoft, a Cultura company, attended the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) Annual Leadership Conference. Their experiences serve as an important reminder of the resilience, innovation, and connection that women bring to our industry.

Tibersoft provides intelligent software that helps foodservice organizations navigate complex supply chains, gain clarity into product movement, and strengthen operator insights. By turning fragmented data into actionable understanding, Tibersoft equips CPG manufacturers, distributors, and operators with the visibility needed to make confident, data‑driven decisions in a rapidly changing marketplace.

At WFF, Tibersoft Director of Professional Services, Judy Bennett, found the conference to be an inspiring reflection of the strength and spirit of women in leadership across the foodservice sector. She described the atmosphere as electric, with speakers whose stories left a lasting impression. From Melissa Stowell, a Purple Heart veteran and Paralympic gold medalist, to renowned journalist Hoda Kotb, to bestselling author Ben Nemtin, each brought forward a message rooted in courage, authenticity, and purpose.

Judy returned with several key reflections that resonate deeply within our Cultura community. She noted that grit and resilience are essential on the journey toward personal and professional goals. She highlighted the importance of embracing one’s authentic self to unlock clarity. She observed that bravery, in difficult conversations and in stretching beyond one’s comfort zone, is instrumental to growth. Most importantly, she emphasized that in a world increasingly mediated by technology, the need for genuine human connection remains vital. Even in remote work environments and at a time of rapid advancement in artificial intelligence, humanity continues to be a cornerstone of meaningful collaboration.

For Angela Cummings, Client Success Manager at Tibersoft, the conference offered both inspiration and honest perspective on the state of women in technology. During a dedicated networking session for IT and analytics professionals, she witnessed firsthand that while women contribute significantly across many areas of foodservice, representation in technical and data‑focused roles remains comparatively small. Yet the impact of the women who are in these roles is unmistakable. Angela described their passion, expertise, and leadership as some of the most energizing moments of the conference. These women are advancing innovation, elevating the role of data, and proving that influence is defined by contribution, not by headcount.

Angela also reflected on the meaningful connections made throughout the event. One moment that stood out was hearing a new mother speak openly about the challenge of balancing professional growth with the demands of parenthood. Her description of trying to excel in both areas resonated deeply and represented a reality many women face. Angela left the conference more convinced than ever that creating intentional space for these candid discussions is essential. When women speak openly, support one another, and acknowledge the complexities of current career paths, they build a foundation for stronger, more inclusive leadership.

At Cultura Technologies, we believe collaboration across Agri‑Food is essential to driving the industry forward. The insights Judy and Angela brought back from WFF reinforce the importance of amplifying women’s voices, strengthening representation in technical fields, and building environments where authentic connection is part of everyday work. We are proud to work alongside strong women across our businesses and across the industry who continue to influence, lead, innovate, and shape the future of food and agriculture.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate their contributions and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive Agri‑Food ecosystem where every leader has the opportunity to thrive.
